Red Wedding

I was recently a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding, and decided to do nails for all of the other bridesmaids (and the bride!) The dresses were a beautiful apple red, so I went for a slightly deeper red on the nails. Of course, my nails were slightly more designed than everyone else’s…

Of course, if I wanted elegant and something which no one could complain about, I had go to with a zoya polish! So the base is Zoya Isla.

The bride and her family (and the groom’s aunts) made ALL of the flower arrangements! So we decided to take pictures with them (well ok. we mostly just like flowers)

We were all wearing pearl necklaces, earrings, and bracelets, so I offered tiny nail pearls for the girls who wanted them! I had to use them on myself first. They are a bit blingy for regular use, but perfect for a special occasion! The stamp is from the Bundle Monster 2011 set, plate 204.

Here you can see the bride’s engagement ring too. Bwhahaha!

Hope you enjoyed! More (real) nail art coming soon 🙂

  1. All the bridesmaids have really nice hands; was this a hand model get together?

  2. Oh, that’s so pretty! I love the stamp and you’re right – the pearls are just perfect.

(You’re not a Game of Thrones fan, are you? Only Red Wedding means something else to them…)

    • Nope. I read the books a long time ago and decided they had too much smut (I love science fiction, but more of the space and dragons type than the sleeping with your sister type)

    • Thank you!! I decided not to do awards on my blog (and to just stick to nail art) but I really appreciate the nomination 😀

      • No problem 🙂 I can understand how they can get time consuming if the same award keeps bouncing around in the same circles. I’ll probably only do it the once.

  3. These are so elegant! I love the pearls and the color of the Zoya polish is gorgeous!

  4. Such a great idea with both the colour AND pearl coordination!
And, I mean, do you read (or watch) Game of Thrones? Because that post title is just….
    Take care!

    • Hahaha. I read game of throne a number of years ago, but didn’t particularly like it. I was aware of the association…but this wedding went quite well :-p. And thanks!

  5. Hehe, fair enough 🙂 It’s still a pretty fresh horrory wound for me, so if it wasn’t for the pretty pearls I’d be too traumatised to click that post… 😛

  6. Highly, I’m happy too :))

  7. Yeah Really this is right place for red wedding nail art ideas. Such a Lush and Adorable.

  8. It’s so amazing collection nail art and good pics
