I promised many people (bloggers, friends, myself) that I would do something special for the 50th anniversary Doctor Who episode. The thing that most screams “Doctor Who” to me (other than River and Daleks) is actually the intro sequence from early 2006-2007. So I did that.
This is supposed to be the TARDIS going through the time vortex…as it switches from blue/purple/lightening, to red/orange/fire. And of course, the Doctor Who logo from the same period! The best (and shortest) video I could find is here for those of you unfamiliar with the show!
I started with a simple galaxy mani, and just drew on top of it. Since I don’t have acrylics, this is 100% polish. The only important colors are the base (Tristam by A England) and the TARDIS (Endless Blue by Sinful Colors). The TARDIS blue isn’t perfect, but it was the best I had! If you want to see a truely incredible Doctor Who mani, go check out the exploding TARDIS by Dani’s manis.
I hope you enjoyed! And I am so looking forward to the 50th anniversary episode this weekend!!
