When I asked for guest posts on my blog, my friend Trish was the first to respond! She and I always used to compare manicures in class (rather than paying attention to whatever neuroscience we were supposed to be learning) and have had a running discussion of various zoya colors for quite a few months. She has put together a deliciously glittery manicure today! And I must say I am jealous…while I own (and love) all three polishes she used to make this, I don’t own her top coat! Seche vite for the win. Take it away Trish!
Today I’ll be showing you a mani with lots of Zoya and lots of sparkle! I used 3 of my all-time favorite Zoya nail polishes – Blaze, Faye, and Storm to create this.
First, I did a red to gold gradient. I started by sponging it on, but wanted the red to be darker so I ended up painting the stripes instead. I also did it vertically rather than horizontally just to see what it looked like, and I liked the end result!
Then I used striping tape (my all-time favorite way to create designs! So easy and clean!) to create the designs. Like I said above, I like how the vertical gradient turned out since the edges were red and the middle was gold. I also used Seche Vite base coat and fast dry top coat – it was super easy to put on and dried so quickly! I think I found my new favorite!
Here are a few pics of the final result. I LOVE how sparkly they are! I did this right before New Years so I find them perfect!
Sideways view: (I just liked how this pic turned out)
Finally, a really sparkly pic:
Hope you liked it!
