I try not to buy expensive polish. I really do. And then sometimes, I just can’t resist. Aurora by piCture pOlish is a LE polish that was made in very small quantities. So when it restocked at llarowe, I just HAD to get it. Multichrome with glitter? I die.
Shown here is two coats of Aurora over a black creme. Gah. The primary color is teal, with a strong showing from blue, magenta, and purple. It flashes gold at sharp angles. It also has glitter that changes color slightly behind the main polish base.
I couldn’t bear to cover much of this beauty, so I emulated a design from work/play/polish (guest posting on The Lacquerologist) and just added some black lines. I do wish I had spaced them a bit closer together! But still, I am happy.
This is my first piCture pOlish shade, and I have to say, I do like the brand! The bottle is fun (small and rectangular), the brush is easy to control, and I wish they were slightly cheaper so I could buy MORE COLORS!
Anyway. I hope you enjoy. Hopefully I can restrain from splurging on expensive polish for a while longer! $16.50 really is too much for one bottle.
