Simple, easy, and woah do I love thermal polishes! I was having a lazy day but my mani was in desperate need of a change. I didn’t want to spend the time doing a gradient, so I grabbed my magenta-to-dark-purple thermal polish and went to town!
Thermals are one of my favorite things to come out of nail art recently (that and multichromes). You can get so many looks out of one color by just changing temperature! This polish is dark purple when cold and bright magenta when hot, with a blue flakie shimmer. (Yes, you’ve seen it before…I reviewed it about a year ago).
The stamp is one of the new ones I’ve been waiting to try, from plate 612. It’s all awesome and swirly and has hearts (although you can’t see them)…and I am a huge fan of whoever put this stamp together!
~ Purple thermal: Femme Fatale – Mushroom Cloud
~ White: Sinful Colors – Snow me White
This mani took maybe 20 minutes, and most of that was waiting for Mushroom Cloud to dry. Sadly, you can no longer buy Mushroom Cloud (why do polish companies discontinue the prettiest polishes??) but there are other fun thermals out there! Hope you enjoyed!
