I saw this beautiful bit of nail art by Marine Loves Polish and I knew I had to try it for gradient day in the 31 Day Challenge! So, here we are. Let’s be honest though…this plate doesn’t stamp as well as some of my others, the images keep coming out fuzzy. I still like it, but it has nothing on the thin crisp lines of my inspiration! It makes my nails look even stubbier 😦
I started with a white base, and sponged on white, light pink, medium pink, and hot pink. Unexpectedly, my medium pink was INSANELY strong. I haven’t used this polish yet (I picked it up on sale at Rite Aid) and I’m fairly certain based just on its gradient ability that it will be a one-coater…and likely easy to stamp with too!
~ White: Salon Perfect – Sugar Cube
~ Light pink: Wet n’ Wild – Tickled Pink
~ Medium pink: Revlon – Bubbly
~ Hot pink: WOW – #371
~ Stamps: Born Pretty – L008
A soft but cute mani! I think I could maybe wear something like this to work next year…hopefully… I keep trying to come up with (and acquire polish) consistent with a professional job. Yuck!
