Unlike yesterday, today we have a geometric mani that ended up exactly how I intended! I finally acquired a jelly polish that I can use for layering in stamping. Be prepared to see a lot more jelly-based manis!
My new jelly polish is Frida by Zoya. In 5 coats (on a swatching stick) she was not CLOSE to opaque. Ergo, no swatches here! But I did layer her :-). What you see here is 4 coats of Frida over a deep blue with green shimmer. Frida darkened the blue into an almost midnight-teal, and it looks awesome!
The first stamp (the more complicated one) has 4 total coats of Frida over it, the initial pattern was white. The second stamp (less ornate, with circles) has two coats of Frida. I added the solid geometric pattern stamp last, and only put one coat over individual designs for contrast.
Frida is soo see-through that even with 4 vs 2 coats it is a bit hard to see the different depths! That being said, the polish is very easy to work with, dries fast, and has a really fun coloration. I’m glad I got it!

Hope you enjoyed, and happy Friday! (You guys have no idea…I kept typing “Frida” as “Friday” because they are only one letter apart!)
