So…maybe not my best work ever! It doesn’t help that my nails themselves look wonky with this many layers of colors. Whoops!
This art was inspired by Nuthin but a Nail Thing, although let’s be honest, her’s looks much better! And more colorful.
I should have used more intermediate colors. I went straight for my darker pinks, and that was definitely a mistake! Live and learn.
Colors
~ White: Sinful Colors – Snow me White
~ Lightest pink: ULTA – Babydoll
~ Light pink: Wet n’ Wild – Tickled Pink
~ Pink: Revlon – Bubbly
~ Coral: Essie – Sunday Funday
~ Red: Pure Ice – Siren
~ Dark red: OPI – All I Want for Christmas (is OPI)
~ Darkest red: OPI – Visions of Love
~ Dark purple: Station – Happy Wine-y People
~ Black: Sinful Colors – Black on Black
Hope you enjoyed! I am back in lab this week (which is to say NOT the hospital) and I couldn’t be more excited. Lab >> hospital!

Like yours, her nails were too long!
Fair enough! I agree about nail length…but I should have been able to find some more medium pinks…somewhere
Meant to put “I” at the beginning of my comment, otherwise it reads differently, sorry!
Haha! I read it with an “I” anyway :-p
Love this, esp the colours you used! I see what you’re saying abt the medium pinks, but this turned out rather unusual; I like that. A braid mani is on my list of things to try.
Thanks! And the hardest part of braid manis is patience…waiting for the layers to dry at least a little!
Patience… ah, not my strong suit…
[…] no, I’m not talking about hair!). Earlier this week, I saw Flight of Whimsy’s beautiful braid manicure and got inspired! So today, I decided to put in a little more effort and try both these techniques. […]
