Sorry for not posting yesterday, it was Match Day for us medical school folks and I ended up going out to celebrate with my friends (ALL of whom got our #1 choice, which is basically unheard of) and forgot to post! Anyway, this mani was a bit touch-and-go, but it came out remarkably well for something that I thought was hexed!
I wanted to use these neon gradient water decals that I was sent from the Born Pretty Store…but it turns out they need a white base (can you imagine these popping over black? I was so darn excited initially). Anyway, this necessitated me going and buying a new white polish since my poor final bottle of Snow me White by Sinful Colors is so thick that it is only suitable for stamping. Ergo, I grabbed the LA Girl white and it took three darn coats! Oh Sinful Colors, please come back to my pharmacy!
Once those three coats finally dried, I added the decals. Over white, they are wonderfully pigmented and very finely designed! I love the detail and how well the colors actually blend. However, they made for boring nails…so I color-matched the pink and blue to two creme polishes that I own and did a gradient just along the edge of my nails! The colors ended up awesome, but I really REALLY should have done the gradient FIRST. It ended up a bit messy as a result and I spent more time than I had trying to make it look symmetric from nail to nail!

Anyway, if you want to pick up some very bright water decals (and three sheets worth from things like full-nail swirls, to geometric patterns, to knots like these) head over to the Born Pretty Store. They are currently on sale for 99 cents! Not bad. Hope you enjoyed!
Really, I just wanted to play with some fun colors for “watermarble” day! I actually tried 4 combos before settling on this one…the right mix of bright, dark, and glitter.
I’ve been trying to marble with glitter polishes more frequently, since I rather love the effect they leave. This particular set of colors didn’t end up with the glitter mixed into the creme polishes as much as I would have hoped, but I still like it! For some reason, none of the purple or blues I used wanted to play along…and I wasn’t willing to risk my really expensive polishes just to see if they would marble.
I ended up using a bunch of polishes for this, and lets be honest, you probably cannot tell which is which in the photos! I named them all regardless :-p

Day 20….we are almost 2/3 through the 31 Day Challenge! And at this point I have completed all by the last day’s nail art. I like to pick from within the challenge for the honors nails you love prompt…I have a few ideas, but I am waiting around to see if someone does something that blows me away (and that I can imitate, cause lets be honest I would love to do ANYTHING Coewless has done for this challenge but I am simply not skilled enough). Hope you enjoyed!
Finally, colors! Again, a simple polish + stamp design, but I do think these pair nicely.
There really isn’t much to say about this, its just brightly colored and glittery. I did think about making it more complicated, but I actually liked how this looked and decided to stop before I ruined it.
I have a whole lot of polishes that I don’t use nearly as often as I should, and Teal Dimension is one of them. The depth is just lovely!

Hope you enjoyed! Happy Friday!
Do-do-DO-do….*cue creepy music*. This was a super fun mani to put together! My nails are unfortunately short, but I wanted to do something twisty and strange (and purple). Voila!
I’ve been doing quite a bit of double-stamping or two-design-on-one-mani stamping recently. I don’t know why…its almost like a single design isn’t challenging enough? Which is unfortunate since I don’t have much time to paint my nails anymore!
I know some people don’t consider purple a halloween color, but I totally do.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed!
I had rather forgotten that I had a plate to review from Lady Queen Beauty! I had used it once briefly…but it got buried under some Emily de Molly stamping plates that just arrived! Ah, the trials and tribulations of a tiny plate versus a larger one :-p
Anyway, I went to town with this! I had been waiting to order a blue/teal jelly polish (and I finally did…) but it didn’t seem fair to make the plate wait for the polish to arrive! So, I just tried to put together a jelly-sandwich-type mani using regular polish. The result came out alright I think!

This plate is fun because it has a whole bunch of fun under the sea patterns! Lots of types of seaweed, lots of fish, some shell too! I had also forgotten that I owned Teal Dimension. It’s such a pretty teal holo glitter! Silly Eva, look through your collection more frequently!
If you want to pick up hehe plate 012 with all the fish and plants, you can find it at Lady Queen Beauty for $2.99 (plus 15% off with the code BPLC15. Enjoy!
Last weekend, I attended two weddings. The second one was an Indian wedding, complete with sarees! The bride and groom were kind enough to get me and some of the other “white girls” sarees for the event! Mine was blue, burgundy, and gold. Of course, I had to make matching nails!
The saree was predominately a beautiful blue/teal color, with purple in the borders and a bold golden design. I didn’t copy the design (very intricate!) but I did use the colors in this nail art.

Honestly, my camera had some trouble focusing on my nails they were so glittery! I think it was worth it though 😀 Hope you enjoyed!
Today I was feeling inspired by purple, and wanted to use some of my scattered holographic polishes! So, I put together a purple holo gradient and stamped over it.
Indoors, the stamp was almost invisible. At least the gradient was pretty! And since I had trouble centering my stamp, maybe it is for the best :-p
In the sun, the rainbow shine in the holographic polishes really came to life. I love holos! Look at all that sparkle!
I had to take an unfocused picture. SO MUCH RAINBOW. *cough* Returning to sanity now…
