I wanted to make a mix of neutral colored bubbles, but I couldn’t decide what color to put them over! For some reason I decided a pale teal would do the trick, and here we are. In retrospect I wish I had gone with black (or one of my neutral creme polishes that I didn’t use for the bubbles) but too late! The end result is honestly rather weird, but this took hours (coloring in all the bubbles) so I am posting it anyway!
~ Teal: Glitter Gal – No Worries
~ Pastel nude creme: OPI – Be There in a Prosecco
~ Nude with gold shimmer: Essence – I Nude It
~ Nude holo: Picture Polish – Cherish
~ Nude shimmer: ULTA – Freshwater Pearl
~ Taupe creme: KBShimmer – Caught on Tape
~ White: Sinful Colors – Snow me White
~ Stamp: Whats up Nails – B015
Moral of the story: If you are going to spend a very long time doing reverse stamping, make sure you have a PLAN or all your hard work is going to end up looking rather half-assed!
I was at a loss for what to call thing or even think about this mani…I don’t personally like it, which is a bit annoying since I know just how long it’s going to take to remove all that glitter! Anyway, my husband said it looked like a motherboard for women, so here we are
~ White/pink/black glitter: Emily de Molly – Sakura
~ Nude sheer: Sephora X – Marvelous
~ Grey holo: A England – Fated Prince
~ Stamp: Lina – Make Your Mark 02
I used three coats of Sakura, which I still love. But I decided that was a little stark for the hospital, so I added a coat of a nude-clear before top coating. I also messed around with 4 different colors of stamp before choosing a deep grey holo…and I still don’t like. I should have picked a different stamp! Anyway, only two photos because I ran out of time. Oops!
Today and tomorrow I am going to showcase manicures that I tried and didn’t really…well..like. Today’s is a french-style manicure but the base color is wrong (why can’t I just find a real nude?) and tomorrow’s is just…off. Next week I will pick up with the 31 Day Challenge as presented by Chalkboard Nails! Assuming I get my act together and edit all the photos I have taken so far!
The only polish that I know the name of in this manicure is the white (Wet n’ Wild – French White Creme) because the other two were OPI mini polishes!
So, not much to say. It’s a Thursday. I don’t like french tip nail art. I might want to stop trying it as a result.
Again, I used a different camera today than I usually do, so the colors are a bit wonky. Sorry!
Ok. That’s all. Tomorrow you get more strange nail art and then back to my usual stuff!
